HAPPY NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY!! --from, little sister.

I was informed during second hour that TODAY, February 28, 2012 is the official NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY!  This means that IHOP is giving away FREE pancakes!!  My very intriguing Pre-Calculus teacher said we "should all go to IHOP (not now of course, class, because we're in school right now *Nah, really? I was wondering where I was!*) and eat our pancakes and talk math. We can do our math homework together, class, and use the pancakes for...ratios, or sequences, or something!"  RIGHT, teach.  We'll get right on that. I'm not exactly a multitasky person, I'm doing good just to walk and wave at the same time without tripping. But, I CAN do math and eat pancakes..."one pancake, two pancakes, three pancakes."...and so on. =D
EXCCCCEPT, for that NO ONE WILL TAKE ME.  I texted Brittany later in the day (not while I was working, of course. teehee), and told her we should go.  So, it was a DEAL.  I was seriously at school craving and dreaming about these pancakes.  A girl sitting across from me in art started telling me all about how she went to IHOP earlier and, OH, it was so good.  I had actually JUST gotten back from eating lunch (which consisted of: an awesome sandwich of french bread, smoked ham, mustard, and bell pepper; then, kiwi, strawberries, and grapes; and, of course, water...in case you were wondering).  This lunch was not very fulfilling because it wasn't much.  I didn't want to eat a lot right before a test I was about to take...just...because...well...that's just not a good idea. =D.
Anyways.  FAST FORWARD.  We eat dinner at home, and I go back to finishing my homework afterwards.  I kept umm...*reminding* my dear sister and mother about the uhh, pancakes, ya know?  That are FREE at IHOP?
"Kristen, we JUUUST ate.  How can you be hungry for pancakes? Would you even eat them?"  Would I even eat them?  WOULD I EVEN EAT THEM??  ARE YOU KIDDING?  I can assure you.  If there were a stack of three pancakes in front of me, for FREE nonetheless, I would EAT them.

Moral of the story: I don't remember what I was getting at, actually.  Just make your own pancakes at home next time.  With syrup.  LOTS.

If anyone would like to come pick me up and take me to get pancakes (or deliver them to my home - we're used to it, ya know. AHA. =), PLEASE, have at it, before midnight!....and please.  Let my sister know how good the pancakes were, so she'll know she missed out.  I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU BACKED OUT ON ME.

That is all I have to say (actually, I have lots more to say, but we'd be here all night), so GOOD BYE!!
Love, Kristen

*OH.  Dont't forget that Pi Day is coming up ya'll.  March 14.  Maybe some place will be givin out free Pie! That'd be wonderful!*

  2. Oh dear little sister of mine. Let's set some things straight. First off... I never told you we would go to IHOP. You texted me...while you were AT SCHOOL, IN CLASS *ACHEM* and said "Ihop is having free pancakes...let's go." My sweet and innocent reply was "Okay...ask mom if she wants to go for dinner." Waaale my dearie, dinner was cooking when I got home. So...apparently you forgot to sweet talk your momma into some free pancakes. Your slip up there, sweetie pie.

P.S. Have you ever tried walking? I heard it's good for the heart....and IHOP is pretty close. Just a suggestion.
